PLAYSTUDIOS is the banner flown by a tight-knit crew of entrepreneurs, artists, software developers, product managers, and producers. Although we come from different lands and disciplines, we share a passion for our work and a belief in the opportunity we are pursuing. Some of us are worldly and well seasoned. Others are new to the game, brimming with fresh insights and potential. Whatever the case, we have each been hand-picked by the leadership team for our unique superpowers—not the least of which is an ability to do lots and lots of pushups.

PLAYSTUDIOS was founded by a group of gaming innovators and land-based casino veterans. Individually and in prior partnerships, the leadership team members have been responsible for award winning entertainment experiences and have realized considerable economic value for their stakeholders. Leadership Bios
The Catalyst – Andrew sets the strategic direction, creative tone, and operating tempo for PLAYSTUDIOS. He is an experienced entrepreneur and corporate executive with a passion for building innovative companies. Andrew brings to the party his prior experiences as Founder and CEO of Wagerworks, Founder and CEO of Silicon Gaming, and President and COO of Wynn Las Vegas and Encore.
The Conductor – Paul is the one who keeps the PLAYSTUDIOS trains running reliably on time. He’s a driving operational force who sustains the company’s forward momentum with a wonderful mix of personal charm and perseverance. Paul draws on his prior experiences as the head of IGT’s Online Gaming Group, Co-Founder and COO of Wagerworks, and an Investigative Officer with the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
The Inspiration – Nicholas is our resident Renaissance Man and the creative inspiration behind PLAYSTUDIOS. He’s sculpted marble at a stone quarry in Italy (yes, Nicholas really did that), designed theme-parks in Korea (yep, he did that too), and created some very popular consumer games and licensed casino game titles for companies like Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, and Activision. We are very fortunate to have him guiding the work of our global creative resources.
The Game Guru – Monty is our ace in the hole. He knows gaming—in every sense of the word—having built, managed and sold a number of console, mobile, and social gaming companies. His previous work has taken him from Maxis to Electronic Arts to hi5, with a few of his own ventures sprinkled in between. He’s crafty and scrappy and definitely the kind of guy you want leading your product development efforts.
The Code Master – Chad is the one who makes sure that whatever the creative team dreams up is faithfully reflected in a highly optimized stream of smooth-moving pixels. A veteran of several other gaming start-up’s including Red 5, Knockabout Games, and Glass Eye Entertainment, he knows what it takes to build a robust and scalable technical platform from the ground up.
The Advocate – Katie is the player’s high-spirited internal champion. She makes sure we never lose sight of what we’re doing and for whom we’re doing it. In her prior roles with Silicon Gaming and WagerWorks, she’s been entrusted with the digital rights to some very high profile brands for whom she has faithfully executed successful gaming extensions. She eats, sleeps, and drinks the needs of the end user. Although if you ask us, we’re not sure if she ever sleeps.
